DOCTOR OF THEOLOGY (ThD) / PhD (THEOLOGY) 2 YEARS)
ThD is an advanced level theological diploma course where one goes deeper into topics related to Bible and Theology. The course is suitable for people who already have a good background in theology.
Admission Requirements
A Master’s degree in any subject, but preferably in theology. In case your Masters is not in theology, we will send additional course material (if needed) to take care of the theological deficiency.
Time Available
You have 2 years to complete the course at an accelerated pace. In case you fail to complete the course in 2 years, you can renew for up to three years on payment of an annual renewal fees.

Practical Work
The student will have to develop and submit three courses, similar to what can be seen at Apologetics Courses or Free Courses. They should choose the subject soon after joining FGTS.
Thesis
Students will work with mentor to select a subject sometime early in their studies. The Thesis will be at least 180 pages (not including coversheet, intro, index), double spaced, in Veranda -12 Fonts – Example can be downloaded from school library.
PhD in Theology
The courses taken will be the same as those in the Doctorate in Theology with an addition number of courses that will be selected by your mentor in areas that you may be weak or even strong in to add to your diversity in Theology. In addition your homework will require 2000 word summations as well as a 250 Page Thesis.
Practical Work
The student will have to develop and submit three courses, similar to what can be seen at Apologetics Courses or Free Courses. They should choose the subject soon after joining FGTS

2. DOCTOR OF BIBLICAL STUDIES (DBS)
Doctor of Biblical Studies (DBS) is an entry level theological degree course at the doctoral level where one learns the basics of Bible and Theology.

Doctor of Religious Education (DRE) is an advanced level theological diploma course where one learns the advanced principles of biblical training and communication.
Admission Requirements: You must be 21 years or older, with preferably an MRE to your credit. However, if you are 21 and if you have any other theological or secular masters degree, you can still apply and we will give you additional course material to take care of the academic deficiency.
Time Available: You have 2 years to complete the course at an accelerated pace. In case you fail to complete the course in 2 years, you can renew for up to three years on payment of an annual renewal fees.
